On my gigabyte areo 16 xe4 bought new march 2022. Noticed thermal throttling taking effect. But performance didn't seem to suffer though. At the end of the game Maybe 45min or more the max cpu temp was 217*F. I think avg was 186* however the exhaust air didn't feel very hot as i could keep my hand there for awhile. Laptop case didn't feel very hot below the keyboard near track pad on each side (sometimes its worse) and i use navida dynamic boost under gigabyte control center app.

Has been warrantied before (couple of months ago) so i assume they cleaned it? It was because the charger input got messed up resulting in the laptop not charging and couldn't turn it on due to it was dead, they did replace power button i assume as it was wrote down on my paperwork but X out. even on a new power supply.

I overridden the fans to stay at max effort vs letting the laptop control it. And use a cooling pad that's tilted up pretty high and that has fans plugged into a separate usb wall plug

did you use your laptop on the bed or lap? if you run your laptop on the bed its bad because the fan can't get air in because its block, the same with using it on the lap, if the fan blocked by your leg it will have hard time getting air in. also do you clean dust of your laptop fan regularly, most likely its because dust is blocking the vent.

if none of this is the problem, then probably when you warrantied it the new thermal application isn't very good
