Bose sleepbuds

So I have Bose sleepbuds 2 and I love them. Recently the volume in one of the earbuds has gone down to about half of the other one. I can't fix it. I have tried all the solutions I have found online (cleaning them out, disconect from the app then reconnect, uninstall app then reinstall.) And before anyone asks there is no way to do a factory reset. The only solution I have found is to send them back to Bose and they would replace them. Problem with that is I'm out of warranty, it would cost me $180 to get a replacement. My thing is it's a simple volume imbalance, this can't be that hard to fix. Any ideas?

Bose, along with just about all electronics manufacturers get away with the way they charge because of just one reason.  They can fix it, and you can't.  Unfortunately it's the sad truth.
