Hello. First of all, here are my specs:

Ryzen 5 5500

Adata XPG D30 3200Mhz 16GB

RX 6700 non-XT Pulse

Gigabyte B450M H UD

As you can see here my pc bottlenecks quite a bit with %70 gpu usage. But on youtube i've found videos of R5 5500 performing better in this exact scene. So i went ahead and disabled XMP, and that caused bigger bottlenecks. So, could it be my RAM or CPU?

PC is newly built, fresh windows install. Downloaded gpu and chipset drivers.

Any help appreciated

Disabling xmp will kneecap the performance, do yourself a favor and go put it pack on. The 5500 is the limiting factor here. A 5700x will stop any bottlenecking. Also on the benchmark videos are they on the expect same settings?

Kinda sounds like a PCIe lane-swapping issue.

Not sure if this applies to the 6700 XT, but I understand some RX GPUs won't work nearly as well at PCIe3. Do you have an M.2 installed by chance?

Yes, i do it is a WD Green 480GB M.2

First, the Greens kinda suck. Not to throw shade, but WD doesn't make them anymore because the Blues make more sense.

Secondly, in some situations, the M.2 can drag the GPU down by requiring that it share lanes. Trying to look your mobo up, does it have two M.2 slots? If so, the M.2 should be in the slot closest to the GPU, the second one may share lanes with the x16 slot (GPU). This would cause the GPU to slow down.

Yes it was same settings but with an 6600xt, never dropped below 60, but mine drops to low 50s i cant screenshot the exact time it happens but as an example

Mine just has one M.2 slot and one GPU slot. And yeah after buying WD Green sn350 i kinda regretted not paying 5 more dollars lol. Is it really that bad?

Is your gpu staying cool as it could be throttling?

My gpu seems to be ok it goes up to 73 at most. CPU can reach to 85 though as im using the stock cooler. I also tested NFS Heat today, and that game stutters like hell. Much worse than this one. GPU goes down to %40 usage

While the PCIe Green is better than a SATA, the Blue is definitely faster. But I do think if PCIe lane swapping is slowing the GPU down, that could be your factor here. I've seen posts about it with the RX6400 being subject to extreme performance loss in that scenario, just not sure whether the 5700 is.

That should be more than enough

I think so too.

Maybe its just bad drivers, the RX 6700 non xt is only a couple of months old.

This guys gpu is always %99 usage. After a while he caps fps and no drops below 60. There is definitely something wrong here

That is a different gpu, the 3060 isn't as powerful as a 6700 so doesn't require as much cpu
