Some questions about ECC-RAM

Hello!

I'm speccing my home server, and I'm looking at options for ECC RAM. Some RAM is labeled "dell" or "hp", and is a lot cheaper than some of the other things I've looked at. Do those things only work with Dell and HP computers? Is there some super pro consumer stuff going on there or is it a refurbished product?

If so, any suggestions are welcome. I looked at this aswell; KSM26ED8/16MR

My platform is:

Ryzen 7 1700
ASUS TUF B450M-PRO S GAMING
