Budget M.2 SSD

Go to solution Solved by SpookyCitrus,

I'd go TeamGroup or Sabrent personally as I've had issues with a few kingston drives in the past. The Crucial P3 Plus is also within that budget. You could also get one for even less if you go PCIE 3.0 instead of 4.0.

I am planning out a computer and questioning what kind of m.2 ssd to choose from. I want it to be around $50 to $80 and be a terabyte I have found this ssd that looks good for the price but depending on the website I look on there are very mixed reviews. Should I stick with my ssd or change for a more expensive one, I need to stay on a budget though.

Im just here for help or to give help 🙂

The NV2 drive had excellent initial reviews. Apparently Kingston is now using a mixture of components, whatever is cheapest at time of manufacturing. This means that one cannot trust reviews or for that matter the published specs.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
