Yesterday when my G710+ arrived, I felt a little sad replacing my good old G15, do you have similar feels ? 

 

I also miss my GTX 480, it was heating my room so well... snif..

 

What makes you geekfeel ? What PC part have you replaced with some sadness ?

Getting rid of my old 2001 desktop which was a BEAST.

I haven't replaced anything with sadness... Everything I had was terrible, and I feel great about upgrading everything. (Well, most of it anyway, I'm not completely done yet)

Well, I had two case fans, Both where red and the middle displayed cool patterns, One spun but didnt light up, the other light up but didnt spin unless you hit the case. Both where from 2003 and they where replaced last year. They used to look so cool:(

When I had to swap out my $250 Asus Pro motherboard for a $100 Asus LX motherboard, after I managed to bend the pins in the CPU socket, with the CPU itself... I seriously felt like crying when I did that...

I hate Intel and their damn pins... can't we get BGA sockets where the CPU is replaceable instead?

replacing my duel radeon HD 6950 2GBs with my r9 290 (one of the 6950s failed) it just feels half as cool having only one card, and I'm going to miss them, such power, much heat, wow.
