Hello.  I've recently just bought a gs60 pro with 1080p display.  Everything feels great, and I feel like running some benchmarks later.  However, there is one gripe that I have with this notebook: its elantech touchpad, for some reason, turns on angle snapping by default, making is really difficult to control my mouse.  I've tried several things.  I tweaked around in the Elan settings, but there was no option to turn angle snapping/prediction off.  I reinstalled the driver (the lastest one I could find on MSI's website).  I even tried to go into the registry, but I wasn't able to find anything (this could be that I'm not looking hard enough, of course).

Helpful? Information

MSI GS60 Ghost Pro

i7 4700hq

GTX 870m

Windows 8.1 64 bit

16GB ram

Driver for ELAN Smart-Pad:

11.13.7.5 WHQL

Additional Information:

I uninstalled the driver via device manager, rebooted.  Angle snapping is still there!  Is this a hardware level problem?
