Cannot see 5ghz network

For some reason my PC cannot find my 5ghz network, I have a 802.11n wireless lan card (unknown model number as all it says in device manager is "802.11n Wireless Lan card". I'm pretty sure it should support 5ghz as there's a option under advanced in the properties for country region (5ghz).

Yes I'm using a D-link 850L and my brother galaxy s4 mini can see and use the 5ghz network fine.

If it cannot be detected than the device attempting to seek the connection is not supported.

It is most likely your wireless card that doesn't support the 5Ghz band.
