When I install games into the drive they dont open, but they do open from my SATA SSD. I already made sure the drive is set as letter D, and even went to the bios to manually change the slot to PCIe gen 3 since my NVMe SSD is gen 3 only, and it still doesnt work.

Specs:

Asus ROG Strix B550a Gaming

Ryzen 7 5700x

Crucial P3 NVMe SSD PCIe 3.0

Windows 10

If you can access the drive and install the games to it, it's not an issue with the drive configuration. Would need to know more about how you're installing and running them, e.g. Steam or some other store or just a direct install/run. If direct, maybe the shortcut is just wrong somehow, and you need to fix it to point to the proper location.

Its just a microsoft store game, I tried installing it into my boot SATA SSD and it opened, but when I try to install it on my NVMe it doesnt, so I know its the drive

Simultaneous installs, or uninstalled off the SATA drive first and installed to the NVMe drive? Is it actually installing to the drive and just won't run, or is it not installing? What happens if you install it to the SATA drive then copy the game files to the NVMe and try to run it from there? Can you install/run software to/from the NVMe? Can you browse the drive, create/copy/move/delete files on it, open PDF/doc/jpg/etc files?
