CPU at 100C under stress testing

Go to solution Solved by Acrids,

So I replaced my 240 AIO for a NZXT 360mm X73 but now my pc would just freeze when starting up. Windows did try to restart on its own but to no avail. Maybe I fucked my pc in the end after all? 😞

Hi all,

I just built my first pc and everything has posted and things went smoothly until I got to stress testing my pc with Cinebench. My cpu reaches 95 - 100C when testing and I've tried many solutions even looking at past problems on this forum page and I still can't get it to work. I've tried reapplying thermal paste, changing fan curves, making sure my fans are oriented correctly, and even trying to undervolt my cpu, but I don't know what to do anymore.

My specs are:

Intel corei7 - 13900k

msi pro z690 lga1700

Corsair iCueH100i Elite Capellix cooler

msi rtx 3070ti

Corsair 4000D Airflow case

It's a 13900K on a not-very-good 240mm AIO...

Get a more serious 360mm one (say Arctic Freezer II) and it'll run cooler
