I got a random crash followed by a reboot. After this reboot the screen was stuck on BIOS info and then it automatically entered Windows Diagnostics. From this step, it entered a loop (Reboot -> Windows Diagnostics -> Reboot).

Some things I've done in order to troubleshoot:

- Removed every disk, and added a newly formatted one -> Installed Windows -> Reboot -> No video output

- Replaced GPU with an older one (GTX 970) -> No video output

- Tested the other PCI-e slot -> No video output

- Removed RAM stick and only added 1 stick -> No video output

- Removed and added CMOS battery -> No video output

- Switched between multiple GPU bios -> No video output

What do you think what might be the problem? Any other thing to troubleshoot? Thank you.

Specs:

CPU: 5800x 3D

MB: MSI Mortar MAX B450M

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB

GPU: Powercolor 5700 XT

PSU: Seasonic Gold 650W Gold

How long have you had this PC ? As for PSU, that's too low for Peak Demand in your system. Need a 750W or better.

On first glance I would say powercolor did what powercolor does, die within 1 day of warranty expired.

Other culprit can be a dead CMOS battery, for that to marginally function it needs 2.8V of the original 3.2V.

I bought everything except the CPU in late 2019. This GPU always gave me problems (mostly related with drivers) but nothing so impactful.

Some people are suggesting me to buy a new motherboard.
I'll try a new CMOS battery.
