Hi guys!

My computer has been running into a problem recently that I have noticed. Throughout the week, my PC boots up normally, fans run, peripherals work, etc. I turn my PC off every night for around 8-10 hours. However every Sunday, I leave my house in the afternoon for around 2 hours, so I turn my PC off in that timeframe. Every time I go to boot my PC up though, my GPU sits at 55oC, fans don't spin, and my monitor display flickers between a blank screen and my startup screen. (Each time I can see the display for a split second, the startup eventually goes to my lock screen). My keyboard and mouse still light up as well. This happens every time I boot my computer after that 2 hour period. Every other day, when my computer has been off for ~8 hours, it boots up normally.

I have an ITX build with these parts:

ASRock Z690M ITX motherboard

Intel 12th gen i7

Aorus RTX 3070ti

2 G.skill 16gb ram sticks.

I think it might have something to do with BIOS, but I am not sure. And if it is, I don't know how to safely update BIOS.

Shutting off HOT, what are your idle temps ? Did you build it yourself or had a store build it ? Thermal paste problem perhaps ?

idle temps are around 28 - 35C. I built the PC myself and it was built May 2022, so i wouldnt think itd be a thermal paste issue.

No, high temps can be all kinds of sources, including bad paste used properly.

But I find it more often with non-professionals is failure to setup margins for the cooling fans/systems.

CPU Cooling is setup in Bios as 40% at 40C and 100% at 60C. Same for GPU but in Drivers in Windows.
