Hi!

I'm currently using Zoho assist to to remote onto devices which are unattended. This particular software charges £12/$14.63 for every 20 devices saved.

Is there any other highly recommend remote login software which can be used where you pay so much but get 100 devices? Just thinking it's going to add up quickly if every 20 computers is going to cost me an extra £12/$14.63.

There is goto assist which for 25 devices costs £40/$48.74month so zoho does seem fairly priced.

What i've been doing is using the 20 licenses zoho allow you for the first payment then removing them as I need to add newer devices. I own a small business/domestic computer support business so I could do with having quite a few licenses really to manage businesses especially offices with 5-10 computers.

anything that is decent is rather costly once you get up in the amount of devices.

the thing is.. this is business software, it is licensed per endpoint, the idea behind it is that the cost of the license is part of the fee you charge your customer for ongoing support.

if you have your management software on customers' endpoints, it is assumed you have ongoing billing with them for that support too.

That seems fair.

I know Team viewer is good and used by the linus tech team. (Also used it myself previously)

You can get a license for 300 devices. Once I've paid zoho for 3 lots of 20 devices (you get billed for each 20 devices) it actually works out cheaper to use Team viewer. (£35/ month for 300 devices). As I'm a relatively new business I didn't want to commit to that but it maybe the way forward in the next year or two 🙂
