650$ ITX build

Chikensoops

Budget (including currency): 10m IDR / 650 USD

Country: Indonesia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly light(ish) gaming at 1080p, some blender.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (100$)

MB: Asrock A520m ITX/AC (110$)

GPU: RX 6600 xt (140$)

RAM: PNY xlr8 2x8gb 3200mhz (44$)

PSU: Fractal Design Ion SFX Gold 500w (64$)

SSD: Team MP33 256gb (23$)

Case: Pccooler i100g (90$)

HDD: Toshiba 2.5 1tb 5400rpm (19$)

Cooler: ID Cooling IS-55 (35$)

The MB, PSU, and cooler are maybe slightly overkill for a 3600, but thats because I want to have a good enough upgrade path for the future, and that this PSU is the best value being sold here. Case can't be changed, I like the case. Other than that, is there anything else I should change? Planning to buy on September next year. Budget very tight, maybe a 20$ headroom.

Thank you

Unfortunately Indonesia doesn't really have a tradition of black friday sales, but I'll look into it. The cheapest 5600 is about 35$ more than the 3600

Don't plan your build now then, we'll have a bunch of new components by then.

I'm trying to set a price goal for me to save up to. I would probably have enough money for the build on around june 2023, and I need all the parts sent all at once at least a week before September 13. The final list will probably differ from this one, but I just wanna set a baseline

Don't forget to add PCIe riser cable. I don't think that case come with one.

Om, please don't plan your build now, by September next year, prices would be so different than they are now.

Save up about Rp 10-15 mill and you should have a decent 1080p gaming rig.

One example from experience, I build my most recent PC about 4 months ago, i5-12400 retail was about 2.7 mill, now they are at 3.1 mill at least. 5600x was around 3.3 mill, now at 2.6 mill. (tokped prices)

This is within 4 months, imagine a year.
