AMD Wraith Cooler?

Go to solution Solved by Dukesilver27-,

Ah, HP prebuilt, IDK if they also alter the coolers to fit their proprietary motherboard, but if so, it is a very HP thing to do.

Any retail AM4 cooler should have the same standard, but since this is not a retail CPU, high chance that they alter the cooler or made them their own to cut cost.

My money is on HP made their own cooler so it isn't standardized.

B550 board is for AM4 CPUs, AMD Wraith Cooler is the stock cooler for AM4, so yes it does.

Reason why I am asking is because I just found out that the cooler I’m trying to install on the b550 that was from my old motherboard does not align properly into the screw holes.

These are the specs on my old pc
