Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

I was thinking of buying a 13600k for my new build, however over the last few days AMD prices have massively dropped in EU. 13600k still being around 400€ but 7900 dropped to 520€ and 7950X to 640€. Should I consider going 7900 or even 7950 considering their long term upgradeability with AM5?

I personally would spring for the 7900x since it dropped in price so much

Alright, thanks. I will keep a look out since according to idealo the 7950X already managed to hit 460€ once
