So I bought a new PC and it works perfectly when I’m doing normal PC stuff (gaming, web browsing, video watching) but I was looking and my ram speed and noticed it wasn’t the speed I paid for so I went to look at the BIOS and I get this static and the computer locks up. I’ve unplugged all my RAM, graphics card, and SSD and the issue isn’t fixed. What’s causing this?

First ensure all cables to your monitor are fully inserted.

Next try connecting your monitor using a different  video cable (hdmi, displayport etc).

Failing that if your cpu has integrated graphics then try connecting the monitor to your motherboards video port.

If your motherboard has a bios flashback feature then try updating the bios using that method.

Sadly that didn’t help and I can’t reset the bios through a button
