hp spectre display issues

Go to solution Solved by another_user,

That did not work in my case.

What I did now: I manually deinstalled every intel app that was on the machine (related to graphics) and downloaded the general "intel graphics driver" (it was basicly the only availible intel graphics driver/app for windows 11) and installed it.
For now, it is working just fine and the flickering is gone.

Since the updates before did not work, I'd suggest, that there was something about the fact that intel rebranded the graphics software at some point, which ended up with more than one running on the machine. Also, it don't know, why there was more than one, since I didn't installed any kind of graphics driver manually before.

I'm currently using a hp spectre x360 Convertible as my laptop when I'm on the road. Since the last bigger windows 11 update (can't really remember which), the display has some issues when the trackpad or a wireless mouse is used: moving the cursor makes the display flicker and after some flickering turning black. The laptop itself don't freeze or anything and by touching the touchscreen, everything goes back to normal. Moving the cursor again by trackpad or wireless mouse: flicker, blackscreen.

I've already looked up some hp help pages and google, but similar problems are usually solved by updating the driver, which I already did. This laso only happened when I'm logged in. On the login screen, the cursor won't cause any issues.

Anybody got an idea what this is?
