Why is my GPU underperforming (Bottleneck?)

Hello LTT forum,

 

About 3 hours ago I put a used RX VEGA 56 into my system and was expecting some decent improvements from my previous GTX 1650 and to be honest not much has changed, on Apex Legends I could get around 110 FPS in the firing range with my old GTX 1650 and the VEGA 56 only just scrapes 70 FPS. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

System Specs
i5 2400 @ 3.1ghz

16gb DDR3

500w W2 EVGA PSU
