Is my CPU dying?

Heyyy,

 

I have had my cpu i5-8400 for years now and over this year ive noticed that it really struggles with gaming and I am unsure why. Minecraft has rubbish performance to expectations, Battlefield 2042 has rubbish performance and now the new MW2.

Inparticular with MW2 the beta played fine but now it keeps doing this really bad freezing, gun animations not updating. Any suggestions? I have a long video clip that I uploaded to youtube. Anyone got any suggestions. I tried with lower my graphics settings but that seems to do nothing. Task Manager says my GPU is high usage but NVIDIA Performance says its like 30%.

 

Also like to note I currently have Gigabit to my house and I know its not my connection.
