Thunderbird 102.4.1 Browser Link Issue .....

Cannot seem to be able to change my default browser in Mozilla Thunderbird 102.4.1 to Brave 1.45.113

 

Windows 10 Pro x64 ( Ver 21H2 ( OS Build 190.44.2130 ) )  fully updated 

 

I have changed the two settings shown below but still does not work!!

  • Menu > Preferences > Config Editor
  • network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http.       TRUE
  • network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https.     TRUE
  • Open a link in Thunderbird, select Choose, and pick a web browser. Check Always use this application.

                    this does not come up but instead this comes up ( see pic below)

          this is for any link twitch , facebook , LTT , etc in emails
