hi i was wondering if anyone could help me i have a gtx 1660 super intel i7-10700k cpu 1200w psu and 32gb of ram and whenever i boot up a steam vr game it lags and stutters super badly the steam vr menu boots up fine but its whenever i start up a steam vr game can someone please help :(

i just got my gtx 1660 super brand new today and for some reason no steam vr games run smoothly there all laggy the steam vr menu boots up fine absolutley no lag at all then as soon as i go into a game like phasmophobia for example it lags badly and also i just got the highest psu there was when i built the pc

make sure to quote, that way people know you replied. i would first start by lowering all settings to lowest, see if that helps. have you tried any games on the oculus app, and if so, are they laggy as well? is it a fresh install of windows since adding the new gpu? if not, may be worth trying ddu'ing the drivers for the gpu and reinstalling. also, might want to try reinstalling steam, or at least steam vr.

i don't know that that would fix the issue, it's also nice to be able to play wireless* if you are playing a game that runs on the quest, your call though.

i don't know that that would fix the issue, it's also nice to be able to play wireless* if you are playing a game that runs on the quest, your call though.

it might be becuase im on the 3rd floor of my house and my router is on the 1st floor and it may be becuase i switched from amd to nvidia today and maybe forgot to properly uninstal the old amd drivers or it could be that ive got to much stuff running in the backround
