Hi,

I wonder if there is also someone who overclock CPU progressively (? I mean every core a little higher) and what do you think of it?

I set up my i7-8700k cores like this:

  1. 5000
  2. 4900
  3. 4800
  4. 4700
  5. 4600
  6. 4500

I was unable to set all cores at 5000, 4900 was unstable, at least with 1,25V.

I was thinking that I don't need 4800 or 4900 1,3V at all cores for all the time, even idling (energy costs, longevity etc)

I thought that I need higher clock when there is a few or one core needed (in some apps, games, to make one core a Hulk), because if app really uses more cores then it would be more efficient anyway (because of more cores), I have lower idle and lower temps.

A quick benchmarking shows more points with this setup than all 4700.
