XR1 Fullscreen Issues

I recently purchased an XR1 Lite capture card to use in my dual pc stream setup. I had been using an offbrand capture card for a while and had it set up as a cloned display so that I didnt need any additional programs open in the background, no issues. I upgraded to this new capture card and now it will not properly caputre fullscreen games. Something like a fullscreen yt video is fine, but the games results in a blackscreen for around 2 seconds, followed by 1-2 frames of the game, then back to black screen. I have tried uninstalling drivers, updating firmware, and different resolutions, but to no avail. Video linked here: https://streamable.com/bhokr5
