Micro SD card for a shield

Hey I am going to get a Shield and would like to make sure I have enough space so I am going to get a Micro SD card for it. Will this be compatible with the Shield http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231577. If it doesn't do you have a different option?

Yes. You'll just be using the SD card itself, not the adapter.

 

When you put it in your Shield, you'll need to format it.

 

Settings < Storage < (scroll down) SD Card

I am still going to use the pre-loaded storage on it. It will just be games. Thanks for the help

Since you own a Shield, do you use yours more for Android games, Gamestream or emulators?

I think I've put more time into emulators on mine :P

I do not have one right now, but I am getting one like I said in the original post, it's all good ^_^  . I would use it for android games and an emulator. I am going to use it on road trips and do not have unlimited cellular data so I can't stream on the road.

Damn, I sped-read straight through that.

 

You'll love it though. You'll be downloading a bunch of updates, so make sure you get all of them. I don't know if they bundled the updates yet, because when I got mine pre-kit-kat update, I had several updates I needed to download.
