Looking to appropriately overclock my machine…

I’ve got a MSI MEG Z590 ddr4, with MSI mag series 360 AIO, Samsung 980 pro 2TB SSD with g.skill trident 32gb ram and  an Intel i9 11900k cpu

I’ve got my clock at 5.1 and manual set of the CPU at 1.32v

It was originally at 1.4v and pushing 49C. Seemed too high so I stepped down significantly to 1.32 and got temps to at normal operation 40C

I’ve got my RAM set at 4600 mhz

Just downloaded cinebench and blenders bench-testing  tool but not sure what the results mean from the tests yet.

I just want to get a nice clock, nothing over the top and ensure the longevity of my hardware.

I can post benchmark results upon request

TIA

How in the hell did you do that? Or do you mean 3600? 4600 is quite easy for most good ram ics but usually not very useful due to gear 2 nuking performance cause imc is clocked low

Use prime95 large ffts and aida64 stresstest, these things run hot so not advisable to run prime95 smallest ffts or god forbid small ffts especially with avx on

If you are sure ram is stable then these will be decent cpu tests
