Is this bend OK?!

So I just installed a better CPU cooler with the stock Intel mounting system. I had to apply more pressure than normal, and now I see this. Is it okay?!

Though that bend is quite concerning.

 

Are you sure you're using the right cooler? Re-mount it if so.

I am using an LGA 775 era cooler on an LGA 1150 motherboard, but to my knowledge the dimensions haven't changed, and I am very sure it is properly mounted, because as I said, it uses the stock Intel mounting. BTW I am deep cleaning my nice friend's PC which had the stock cooler for years, and it was dusty as heck.

 

Edit; just noticed the backplate is where the bend is. So back to the stock cooler..?
