Does this build seem good?

Go to solution Solved by Sjaakie,

Arctic liquid Freezer 360 is great, though it doesn't look half as good as the Capellix.

Kraken X73 is nice, can be tuned quite ok noise wise with the CAM software.

Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT 360 is also great if you can still find it where you are from.

Fans of course can all be replaced with LL120 if you'd like, though the total will be more expensive.

Budget (including currency): 3000 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light Gaming (Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, turn-based rpgs) , mainly office work (3d rendering, CAD)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

This plan currently comes out to my planned budget plus another commander core, cable mod cables, and a corsair socket 1700 adapter.

No peripherals are needed.

Upgrading from HP Omen prebuilt.

Going to buy it as soon as possible.

Single 4k monitor.

Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Define office work? If your using excel and ect there's no reason for a 12900k 3080. Is your work cpu/ gpu intensive?

Could you also link the list instead of a sc?

I do a lot of 3d rendering work along with CAD design. Also looking for something I could expand into long term.

Looking good. Check the requirements though for the software. If you can make a lot of use of Cuda accelleration the 3080 makes sense. If all performance relies on the gpu cpu you can get away with something lower end.

Corsair Capellix is good but the pump is a bit noisy.

Don't get 4 ram sticks, get a single kit 2 x 32. It's way easier on the memory controller. There's a decent chance it won't run on 4 sticks (or 2 x 5200 even. If it doesn't just set it on 4800).

Any ideas on another AIO. I know the 12900k can run hot

About what id recommend

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nBZgrD

Oc dosent net a lot of perfromance on 12th gen, so I'd just get the lock variant for cheaper

Better aio for the same price

B660 that can handle the 12900

2x32 for upgradibility

Better gpu for cheaper and a 1000 watt psu instead
