Laptop only detecting the optane storage on a sdd+optane

I recently bought a new laptop (ASUS rog g15) and it only came with 512gb so i decided to add the SSD from my old laptop (an hp pavilion). The SSD I added is an Intel H10 512gb ssd+32gb of Optane storage. Nothing on my new laptop is the detecting the 512gb of normal SSD, only the 32gb of Optane on the SSD. Ive been looking at asus forums and i dont see anything like this, i saw some similar things on the hp and intel forums but they all say to get a specific driver that i cannot find a link to. Is it possible there's something i may need to just change in the bios to get it to work?

 

Edit: if it helps the specs are ryzen 7 4800h, 16gb 3200hz ram and an rtx 3050 ti mobile
