Hi guys, I've been searching for an answer for days. I recently acquired an RTX 3090. I love it, however, especially in Doom Eternal, my 99% FPS keeps dropping down to 25-50 in a LOT of areas. Any thoughts as to why this would be happening? Ultra Nightmare quality, and it doesn't matter if I have DLSS on or off. It's the ASUS ROG Strix 3090. I can still return it if it's an issue with my system. I've optimized the game with GeForce Experience, reset all of the settings, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, went through every "3D Image Setting" in the NV control panel, tried every option I could find online so far.

Specs:

EVGA P2 1200W

Ryzen 9 3950X OC to 4.3Ghz at 1.35v cooled with Corsair H115i 280mm AiO

64GB 3200Mhz Corsair RAM

ROG-STRIX-RTX3090-O24G-GAMING

Samsung 980 PRO NVME SSD 2TB (games)

SAMSUNG 970 PRO NVME 512GB (boot pci gen 3 though)

SK HYNIX 1TB SSD (SATA for other games/emulators)

WD 10TB Mechanical drive (deep storage/photos/Plex)

ASRock X570 Taiichi Motherboard

All CableMOD Pro Cables to handle power (carbon color). Had an issue with some older power cables from the original PSU set.

EDIT: Forgot to list I am using an Acer Predator x34GS (3440x1440) Monitor at 180Hz (tried GSYNC on and off), Logitech G915 TKL clicky, and G9 Pro mouse.

If you need anything else, please let me know. It's really bothering me. I mean, it's not the best system, but I wouldn't think it's bad enough to get 26FPS. The entire room is air conditioned (yes, I know that's not smart given the GPU heat, but I'm willing to pay that price), and my temps never seem to exceed the ~60-65C range under load. They sit quite cool at idle.
