If you want a high overclock like that i would suggest something along the lines of a 990FX motherboard. Such as the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 or ASUS Sabertooth 990FX.

Also Cherry keyboard suck. I'd get something by Corsair, Cooler Master, or Ducky.

Its my first ever PC and so my first ever mech keyboard. Im used to keys low to the ground and so thats why i chose this keyboard.

Those MOBOs are £60 more expensive which is way too much. Would this board be better? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-970ag46

The boards are a lot more expensive because they're a lot higher quality. Never cheap out on the motherboard. You could go with theGigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 That's as low as i would go though.

no thats literally trowing money away

get 970 ud3 or ud3p mobo, whatever is cheaper. it has 8+2 power phases and its pretty much best bang / buck for overclocking

and its heatsinked also

not really sure about amd chips so I don't want to confuse you

Basically with AMD chips when you get into the 8000 series you want a 990X or FX board because the 8000 series chips eat a lot of power so you need sufficient power phases. On the 970 board the power phases are usually cheaped out on to save cost. However the 990X and FX chipsets are made for the power hungry chips. The 970 chipset is more for the FX 6000 and 4000 series chips.

The 990FX boards i recommended have higher quality components and will yield a better over clock and better performance than the 970's you recommended. Just because it's heatsinked and has 8+2 power phases doesn't mean it will handle the newer 8320.

I'd go with the top board.

The one highlighted and enlarged.

I didn't even look at the price you were paying. I'd drop that down to any 1600Mhz kit. You don't need the 2400Mhz.

Ok, which do you suggest?

Anything by G-skill, Corsair, A-Data, Crucial. RAM is RAM basically.

I'd say just grab a cheap 1600Mhz or 1866mhz G-skill Ripjaws kit.
