Looking Mini PC recommendions

Im in the market for a mini PC, mostly as an media PC + Tethering* using nothing too heavy, around the 300-400$ range (Amazon links would be greally appreciated )

This one looks fairly promising for 365 (50% coupon)

*Tethering - is something a lot of photographers do, having their camera hooked up to a computer and having the images transferred directly to the PC

Those Optiplex'es are garbage, you should be looking at the MSI Cubi or the Asus PN's. With that kind of budget, preferably with a 6 core CPU.

and if you can preferably a Ryzen with Vega graphics. If you are ever in a situation when you'll need a GPU power you'll be glad you went with VEGA. Even if you end up selling it later, it'll be far easier and get you a higher price because it'll stay relevant for longer on the used market.

 

Now that I mention it, I'll head of to ebay to see how much a used HTPC with VEGA costs, sort of need one actually.

Asrock deskminis are also in your bduget if you look around used.

 

Either way used options will really open up the quality of stuff you can get

You speak from experience? I've owned a few sff pcs from Dell and they've all been rock solid. You can obviously do way better than the one listed on Amazon.

I mean with this kind of budget obviously they should be buying a Zen APU setup.
