Technically both. The 16 pin connector is what's on the 3090 Ti, but the 16 pin connector and 12 pin connector are electrically compatible. The 16 pin connector just adds some more sense pins for the GPU to communicate with the PSU to determine how much power they can both use. They aren't necessary for function, so you can use a 12 pin connector.
