Felt mouse pads

Lets share the experience of using felt mousepads for different cases.

Here's picture of what I mean:

For some reason, if you google it, it shows photos with horrendous Apple mouse. Which implies that these people hate computers and love gimmicks and inconvenience. Is it really inconvenient to use?

Does it work properly with mouse sensor without impact on precision?

 

For example, I want to buy a big mousepad to use with MX Master 3S and laptop. But I don't like how quickly regular mousepads collect the dust and get dirty. I think that this piece of overpriced cloth will collect the dust with the same rate but at least show it less.

 

Could you share any advice about mousepads different from regular "gaming" mousepads?

Getting dusty / dirty is in the nature of cloth fabric. You'll need to find a plastic pad of that size, which is a very hard find.
