Green areas on acer ED320QR

RoseofLight

Recently I've noticed that there's a huge green spot/area in the center of my monitor and an smaller one on the right side bottom. I have a second monitor and it doesn't show on that one. I've gotten a new display port cable and it didnt fix. GPU's fine. I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

It’s very diffuse.  Looks sorta like it might be a thing with the various screens that sit in front and behind the LCD part of the panel.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

The thing is both hdmi ports don't have that issue so i'm thinking it might be the port its self but I don't know if its practical due to me never replaced anything like that. Acer does offer repairs but wont cover shipping even under warranty.

?!  I’m not sure any hdmi problem is related to the screen one at all.  Screen spots look like mechanical bending.  Like a laptop had something put on the keyboard and then closed or the monitor had stuff thrown at it or something
