If resetting the BIOS fixed it then it was likely a bad setting in the BIOS that was preventing the system from booting. Did you make any changes to your BIOS or any hardware changes before the problem occurred?

It would be helpful to know if he has an Intel system. Because 00 on that list is for Intel.

 

If AMD, it's unused. Many Asus boards in the past would fail with 00, but a new cpu wouldn't revive the board.

last night was working ok next morning didnt work
