Should I pick a Palit GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Pro V1 LHR 10GB GDDR6X or Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Ti ROG Strix OC 8GB GDDR6 due to the same price point where I live.

In the uk the 3070 ti is 700 pound and the 3080 is around 730 pounds

What's your CPU and RAM, and what are you using the computer for? Those two cards, from what I know, aren't too vastly different for general gaming since they're both high end and just a teir apart.

Assume I'm using Linux as you would assume other people use Windows. Using since 2016, daily driving since 2018.

I have a ryzen 9 3900x with 16 gb of ddr4 3200 mhz,I have a Rm850x powersuply and i will be mostly gaming and recording.

Can't speak for the build quality of either card, but the 3080 comfortably beats the 3070 ti on most benches, so if they are the same price, go with the 3080.
