Capture Card Static (solved)

so... I bought one of those cheap 15 dollar USB capture cards to capture ps5 gameplay. and it works well for video capture.  my issue has been the audio.  All I'm getting through it is static and no audio. I'm not sure the solution, or where the problem is originating.  its default format is 1 channel, 16 bit, and 96000 Hz. The output i'm using is through OBS, but through other audio capture programs as well all I'm getting is the static.  Any advice would be appreciated.

And I Have Solved my own issue.  for anyone who has encountered this issue... you must change your audio output on the ps5 under Audio > Audio Output > General > Audio Format (priority) to Linear PCM
