Need help for building pc

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

This build should be good, but if you're building in 1-3 months maybe ask again when building because new GPU's and CPU's should release pretty soon and prices of current hardware will change.

For now, something like this should be good.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K 3.6 GHz 12-Core Processor  ($376.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler  ($89.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard  ($179.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory  ($125.00 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial P5 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($186.95 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING LE iCX3 Video Card  ($1217.99 @ EVGA)
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case  ($94.99 @ Corsair)
Power Supply: Enermax Revolution D.F. 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($108.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $2380.79
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Edit: changed list a bit with prices on that store. Something like this would do. image.png.dfae235ca04e6d9abbf6a6b9bfbc8e34.png

Budget (including currency): -+3000 euros

Country: Lithuania

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: sandbox games, ark, gta5, minecraft with shaders, all games.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 2560x1440 about 165 fps, ultra graphics. I prefer skytech.lt shop, and if possible air cpu cooler (too scary for liquid lol). Building between 1-3 months

Not really great lists.

Intel:

Why a 12600K when 12700F is almost the same price but faster?

Why such an expensive board?

Decent SSD but the value for money really isn't great.

I'm sure there's a cheaper PSU that doesn't suck.

AMD:

Same thing about motherboard, SSD and PSU.

You are right on the cpu, Im sorry for that but I put the psu because it is a very reputable brand, my friend uses it in his setup and it does not suck.

I'm not saying it's a bad PSU. There's just other decent stuff available for cheaper.

Should i change anything like graphic card brand or smh else? Btw in your build motherboard is ddr5 and rams are ddr4 or ddr4 works with motherboard that is ddr5?

If you can find the DDR4 model of the board that's better, unless DDR5 RAM isn't too much more expensive.

If the price difference is big you could go for a 12700F, it's a 12700 but without integrated graphics.

I dont mind to be a bit expensive, but which one I should choose? i prefer 2x16 https://www.skytech.lt/operatyvine-atmintis-ram-stac-komp-atmintis-dimm-c-86_85_217_419.html?f=s(),g(),p(4075,3312,3347),k(14.79,853.00)&frag=&fragd=0&pav=1&sort=5d&sand=1&grp=1&pagesize=500&page=1 And since ddr5 is new should i stick to ddr4? ddr5 dont have much problem?

There's a decent amount of problems with ddr5 right now. Price being one of them although I have some pretty cheap kits recently compared to when they first launched. Secondly locked intel chips (non k) have a tough time getting the ram speed that's advertised (anything above ~4600) without sacrificing elsewhere. I'd go ddr4 to be safe.
