Hey all,

maybe someone can help me here.
I think my graphics card might be broken but I am not sure (I know it's fairly old).

So while I game I get artefacts but not while "normal" usage.

I use my computer rarely and even rarer for gaming since most of my friends are on console.

Most of the time I get white dots or stripes which are annoying but except for that everything works.

When I take a screenshot these artifacts aren't visible but I have a recording in from Phasmophobia (taken with AMD software) where one can see my problem.

I think when BF 1 was realesed I had this issue the first time but I didn't bother much since I mainly played on console.
Now I played some Phasmophobia and it started bothering me because the experience of the game is kind of disturbed.

And my girlfriend likes to play Sims 4 every once in a while.

Would be great if someone could help me or tell me if this graphics card is broken.

I already tried different cables and monitors.

Thanks in advance and I'm sorry for any grammatical mistakes. Native language is not english.

Specs:

Given that it shows up in recordings, it is obviously either a software or a GPU issue. That rules out cables and monitor issues.

I would try reinstalling your GPU drivers. You're right that card is slightly old, but it shouldn't have that kind of issue just for being old.
