So I am running a core2 duo and a gtx 560ti with 4Gb Ram. the machine was for want of a better word dying its feet with an old 500gb Sata II HD. As I only really play WOW and surf the net etc I didn't really want to splash out loads on a new motherboard cpu combo, so I got a 250gb Samsung 840 SSD for £145.. All I can say is wow.... :) The difference to feel of the machine is amazing... And has given my old dog another year or more of live...

Love SSD :)

On a slightly related topic given the specs on my Q6600 and gtx are there any cheap DDR3 motherboard and procossor combos out there or should I just stick with my Q6600 until I grow up and dump wow for performance hungry FPS...?

I would only have a budget of £200 so I think I have answered my own question..

You might as well wait for Haswell to decide now that it's almost here :)

£200 might be just enough for a mid-range solution for Haswell... Without RAM.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
