Hi, im trying to figure out a way to setup a motion sensor outside my home office door so that I know when people are about to enter. I just disassembled a "Mace model 80357" motion sensor and with my little knowledge in electronics, have some ideas that may or may not work. First, the MS originally used an LED to show whether there was motion or not, the connection that was used to power the LED have a red and a black wire. There is also a built in wireless transmitter that(from what my research shows) transmitts at 433Hz. Could I get a 433Hz receiver and hook that up to an LED in my office? Or maybe get a transmitter and hook it up to the LED connection?

Thanks!
