Hello all!

I recently got a new monitor as I was having to play on my 43" TV (don't ask lol) and now a lot of the in-game text is pixelated and illegible unless it's closer to my POV on my screen. This was never an issue when I was playing on my TV so I'm thinking it might just be a resolution issue perhaps? I play most games on Medium/High usually. (Medium is for more demanding games and High for less demanding games as I have a cooling situation which is soon to be sorted.)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Here's my specs (monitor included): https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/tCfPFg (I have the ASUS TUF Gaming VG279Q1A, just tried to find one close to spec)

You bought a 27" 1080p and you're wondering about the huge pixels. That is normal. 1080p is optimal for 24", with good eyesight it's even ok for 21-22".

27" is OK with 1440p (2560x1440) if you have good eyesight and 1440p for 32" for everyone else since 32" 1440p has the pixels the same size as 24" 1080p.

My plan is to have one monitor for gaming and then have one monitor for Discord, Spotify and things like that. What would you suggest I buy for my second monitor?

I don't want to go too crazy but I did completely forget about the existence of 1440p monitors when making my purchase. For example, I play WoW Classic and the names above NPCs can look unclear at a distance but looks somewhat clear when I get closer to the NPC so the easiest fix seems to just be to get closer whenever I can't read something but seeing how I'm planning on getting a 2nd monitor anyway is there anything within the ASUS TUF range that you'd suggest?

From what you're saying, I understand that 27" 1440p is good if I wear my glasses lol and that IS what I was planning on getting after remembering the existence of 1440p monitors.
