I've been planning to build a PC and have a huge upgrade from my previous one , i now own a razer blade 15 GTX 1060 for the past 5 years or so, and prior to that one i had built a GTX 1070 PC.

I currently need help to find the best parts for me , i would consider my self a casual gamer who likes to play modern games, but i am also a working student in Communication and Media. So I'll need a PC around my budget , which can operate in both worlds, in gaming and editing.

Thank you

Budget (including currency): 20000mop

Country: Macau SAR

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Elden Ring, Modern Games , movies , film editing, Photoshop , Illustrator, VR - Half Life Alyx

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current monitor : ROG 32 inch 244 Hz curved . Parts : I'm looking to builder with Ryzen 9 5900x or equal , GPU RTX 3060 , 32 gb ram , AIO cooler , mother board (it was recommended to me ) ROG strix . ( These are the plans , the monitor is the only thing i have currently ) (sorry for the lack of detail )

Please do contact me either here or my email : dcngalves@gmail.com

Thank you for all your help

Seems like 20k MOPs are worth approx 2.5K USD, with that you can easily build a 12700+3080 rig that will be much better than what you're expecting

AMD R9  7950X3D CPU/ Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E board/ 2x32GB G-Skill Trident Z Neo 6000CL30 RAM ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB cooler/  2TB WD SN850 NVme + 2TB Crucial T500  NVme  + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD / Corsair RM850x PSU/ Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / ASUS ROG AZOTH keyboard/ Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

I'm an AMD guy, but this is more or less a slightly revised version of my build, or what I would do today with a similar budget.

Due to the above, I've likely revised posts <30 min old, and do not think as you do.

Thank you , but i believe the 12700 would be less for video editing and other creative softwares , it is true that it would work better , but i would believe it would be best for gaming

Sure, then you should choose between a 5950x and a 12900!
