Graphical glitching after installing a new GPU driver

System specs:

Xeon E3 1280V3 (Haswell 4c8t, basically an i7 4770 with no onboard, and strict clock limits)

EVGA 980

Gigabyte H97-D3H mainboard

32GB DDR3

SATA SSD boot drive (Crucial MX500 256gb)

I have three 1080p monitors hooked up to the GPU. GPU driver is the 472.12 driver, Standard version, from NVidia's website. MSI Afterburner, because it's a retired gaming rig, and why not.

The issue is that when I do almost anything with screen animation, it animates slowly, and seems to not animate properly. Example, when I pull up the task bar, after moving the mouse away, as it 'fades away', the bottom third vanishes and flickers. I don't actually have any games installed, I might toss Minecraft on to see if it works properly... GPU temps are fine, low 30°c range when idling, 65°c under full load. Card isn't OCed, though it was for a while (uh, +250 core and +400 memory, was power limit limited).

I ran DDU and installed the 472.12 driver, I was previously running a 465 driver.
