I have an issue with my services where the PC will just randomly spike the CPU, a service called .net optimization service starts to run, between 2-10 of them.

Uses all cores, about 50% on all of them, just for this service

I could be in a game, watching youtube, in notepad, doing nothing for hours (PC never turns off) and it will just kick on. Can tell as my fans kick up.

This lasts for anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes at random.

I have done the normal things, (Malware scans, turn off all services that arn't microsoft, reinstall .net) but can't seem to figure this one out.

As well there was reports of running the optizimation task, found here, https://mefmobile.org/fix-net-runtime-optimization-service-high-cpu-usage/ which didn't see to fix anything.

Suggestions, beyond a fresh install?

Thanks for any help

Id recommend you to remove that app and then observe for the differences...

Which app? .net? Its part of windows at this point I don't even know if its possible to remove it. I did remove the update of .net from feature, but the issue remained. As well many programs and games won't run with out it.

Decent idea, but not a long term solution.
