Could this damage my PC?

So because I needed to move my table the only good way I can now store my PC is on the carpet like this (see picture).

I mean if you violently kick it. That might cause damage.

 

Otherwise I don't see how it could get damaged just sitting there.

I mean like bc of heat or something could it be bad for the PC long term

i would suggest not keeping it on the carpet because this results in much more dust and debri being picked up by the pc fans and psu fan. This is because all that stuff accumulates in your carpet. One solution could be building an elevated solid stand for your pc out of wood that would fit under your desk. A cheap way to do this is to get a piece of wood and stack it up with books. As others have said. I would raise it off the carpet as much as you can. Improve the airflow and reduce the amount of carpet fibres that the machine could suck in. Depending on how you raise it, you could create a bit more space to tuck your feet under.
