Hey there, I'm looking for a few different builds for a gaming cafe I'm going to be opening at my university, and I'd be happy to make a seperate thread for each, however, these include:

  • Flight Simulator
  • Racing Simulator
  • Linux system with windows VMs for gaming

Basically, I'm trying to spec out the best of the best flight and racing simulators, including, but not limited to: moving seats, VR, triple monitors, full instrument panels, seat kickers etc.

For the general use computers I'd like to build a decked out threadripper + 3090ti build in Linux and dynamically allocate resources splitting between several (as many as possible ) computers running windows VMs to game/productivity (basically a KVM/VFIO setup)

The goal is to buy super expensive hardware and split it between as many "computers" as possible instead of having a separate computer for every single station at the cafe
However. I have no idea if that's even feasibly possible. And I might just have to build a separate computer for each station at the cafe, but I'd rather go the Linux + windows VM route.
I'd also like to hear thoughts/ideas on a structure to make this work, possibly memberships where you pay to get a certain amount of fps, how much would that be? and monthly? a semester? limited by time or unlimited time per day with a membership?
How would you monetize this in the most consumer-friendly way as possible?
Please, help.
Tutorials, what I need to know, what will work, what won't, I come seeking as much advice as I can get.
Thanks
