MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G occasionally has no lights on

Rogue__

Sometimes I look down at my rig and notice that all the lights on the graphics card are off. The computer stays running. Nothing changes. I assume the card is still on and powered, but it isn't lit. I bought the card new. It's done this its entire life. I've never had any other issues with it, but it worries me.

EDIT: Today the GPU went out while the system was running. As usual, the system didn't power off, but a bunch of display settings became unavailable (and Windows Night Light turned off) and the computer was slow and the display output looked like a**. I thought it was just running on CPU graphics, but here's the kicker, my monitors are plugged into the GPU. So why was I getting any output to begin with? Please help.
