XMP 3.0

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

XMP 3.0 is the revision of the XMP technology being used, XMP I and II are the profiles being enabled. In many cases I've noticed XMP profile 1 and 2 are the same so it's not surprising that both give you the rated speed

Hi everyone, hope you're all well; just a quick question...
I'm running an Asus Z690 Hero motherboard and using 2 x 16GB sticks of Dominator Platinum RAM (5,200MHz).

When enabling the XMP profiles, I can select XMP I or II and the RAM gets to the advertised speed no problem - nice and stable.
Should there be an XMP III there, or does the XMP I and II make use of the 3.0 capible RAM?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks
Marhier.
